I have that holiday feeling!!!
YAY!
I have a whole week off :D

Last year I woke up and my birthday didn't feel right.
Some horrible nasty men had decided to do terrible things in London the day before which led to my birthday treat being cancelled and as my LJ reports I didn't have a good day until late at night when I met widger34 and Damo for a meal (which was terrible but the company was great).

This year feels all different already :D
It's going to be a good one and I can't wait!!

My dad was amazed how bouncy I was last night and told me that I was supposed to be forgetting my birthday these days!! Hmmm....am I really THAT old???!!

Last week was such a write off in so many respects...feeling poorly, not having my laptop, running all over...so its very nice to arrive at another Monday morning knowing my laptop is working and being well again :)
I can't wait to meet my new niece too!

Why on earth did I ever want to see United 93???

It must rate as one of the most harrowing films ever produced......why on earth did I think I would like to see it??

I had heard it was one of the best films of the year....but believe me if I had been sat at the end of the row, I would have left half way through.

The beginning was interesting....how they tracked the planes....but after that it was just plain harrowing.....

Why on earth did I go to see it???
Why on earth would I have imagined anything different???

Ho hum.....

I must say...and this is probably the reasoning behind making it....it makes you think about the heroism of the people involved and also the reality that they went through that day....and also makes you ponder what else could have been done.

But to be perfectly honest you don't need to see this film to realise the bravery of the people who knew they were about to die......

My advice....don't go and see it....you know the ending and its not a pretty or happy one.....and the mess in the middle is something you really don't want to see.......

If it were a movie it would have had a happy ending.....

DON'T GO AND SEE THIS......Believe me.....it was horrible...largely a true story and yes it does make you think.......but its horrible.....
